Seidon reservoir dam :

Seidon reservoir dam is studying on the northeast of Khuzestan province . This study was started since 1998 .
Water supplying for agricultural lands , with area of about 9000 ha is the main reason for studying this dam .

  Balarood reservoir dam :

The first stage of studying about this dam was begun in 2000 .
Balarood reservoir dam is earth dam and located near Hosseynieh City in Khuzestan province .
Water supplying to agricultural lands of Andimeshk flat about 7000 ha , flood control of Balarood river and also conservation of lower areas against flood are the main purposes of this study .
Karoon waterway development project :

The importance of marine transport development , long record availability , variation in river bed and also quantitative & qualitative affects of water resources development projects are caused to consider these study projects on the Karoon River .

  
Khuzestan Rivers flood control project :

This project for foresight and presentation of floods on Khuzestan flat is under study . The main purposes of this are :

1) Installation of informative necessary systems and data collecting .
2) Reservoir operating .
3) Design of desired structures .
The importance activities were done to now :
1) Fluctuation recording on Karoon tidal and preparation of hydrography and topography on Bahmanshir river .
2) Bed sediment and island problems in Karoon River .		   Small surveys projects :
